Why Attend?
Our Part-Time Work events are always well attended with anything between 1,000 and 1,500 students attending. Many of our students want to work part-time around their course commitments while studying here in Liverpool, so you have a ready made pool of labour at your disposal.
Many students arrive at University with previous employment experience and skills that can be utilised in the workplace, so they can contribute beyond basic roles if need be.
In September 2009 up to 4,000 new students arrived at the University who will be here for the next 3 to 4 years so many students can offer continuity of employment in their part-time roles.
If you only need staff on an ‘as and when required’ basis or only need to recruit temporary staff, then students can offer you that flexibility of employment. If you are an employer who also happens to recruit graduates, employing students in a part-time capacity provides you with an ideal opportunity to look at the calibre of our future graduates and to build a relationship that could have a long term benefits to your business operations.
