Civil Engineering & Construction in the Limelight

Tuesday 5th February 2008, * 5.30pm - 7.00pm * Stanley Theatre, Guild of Students, University of Liverpool

* This event is now fully booked.

The Civil Engineering & Construction in the Limelight Evening is an ideal opportunity to make contact with engineering students from the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University. This is your chance to convince the cream of these students to start their career within your organisation.

You will be able to advertise graduate job vacancies, at both national and local level, to final year students to generate high quality applications early on in the recruitment season. This is also a chance to meet penultimate year students in search of quality work experience opportunities. Furthermore, the evening is an ideal forum to raise your organisation's profile as a main player in the graduate recruitment market.

For the 2007/2008 academic year, the University of Liverpool will have over 150 students graduating from courses such as Civil Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering and Civil & Structural Engineering and over 200 students in their penultimate year students seeking vacation work opportunities. Similarly, at Liverpool John Moores University, there are at least 150 students per year for built environment undergraduate courses including Civil Engineering, Building Surveying and Construction Management. We are therefore expecting attendance to be high.
